Recall: Honda HRX walk-behind mower
Heads up, you lawn mowing maniacs. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a recall July 10, 2008 on HRX walk-behind lawn mowers by American Honda Motor Corporation due to laceration hazard.
According to the CPSC, "The lawn mower's rear shield can break off allowing debris to be thrown toward the operator, which poses a laceration hazard to consumers."
There are 20,500 units out there, so check your mower. If you have an HRX walk-behind lawn mower by Honda with the serial numbers MAGA-1500001 through 1520532 (found on upper read of mower deck), stop using it immediately and contact your local Honda Lawn and Garden dealer for a free repair.
