CURRENT POST

Zookoda No, Feedblitz Yes

In my recent Zookoda blog broadcasting services post I talked about features they offered and that I planned to offer it to my readers.

I signed up and was pleased to discover they abide by anti-spam laws. This way, all e-mail sent with Zookoda services is legitimate and they develop a good reputation. To accomplish this, they require registrants to submit their mailing addresses before being allowed to broadcast e-mail announcements.

I've determined this is excellent for businesses, but not so excellent for a single family wanting to broadcast blog updates. I'm not ready for everyone in the blogosphere to know my family's personal mailing address. I have kids to think about. Since I'm not for forging postal addresses, I've decided to pass on offering Zookoda to our readers.

If any of you were looking forward to getting website updates by e-mail from The Building Brows, not to worry. We do already offer this service from Feedblitz. It's a great alternative where you can read our full posts entirely from your e-mail program.

Concerned about ruining your e-mail address if you sign up with Feedblitz? Don't. Here's what Feedblitz's Privacy Policy says, "When you subscribe to a feed published using the FeedBlitz, we will share your email address with the publisher of that feed, but with nobody else. You may set your profile preferences to be anonymous to stop such notifications. Your email address will never otherwise be shared by FeedBlitz with third parties. To prevent spamming, we required all new subscription requests to be confirmed via email before they are activated."

Interested? Look for the "subscribe by e-mail" notice in the sidebar and enter your e-mail address. You'll be getting our feed to your inbox in no time.
