RECALL: "Elite Operations" Toy Sets sold at Toys R Us
On March 13, 2007, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the "Elite Operations" Toy Sets voluntary recall by Toys "R" Us for lead and laceration hazards.This is a light and sound military-style play set with vehicles, action figures, and accessories. These sets were sold at Toys "R" Us between January 2006 and early February 2007.
According to the CPSC, "These toys contain high levels of lead in the paint, which is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects. Also, the toys have sharp points, posing a laceration hazard. Consumers should immediately take the toys away from children and return the product to the nearest Toys "R" Us store for full credit."Models affected by this recall:
