Zookoda: Blog Broadcasting Service
Here's a quick note for all you bloggers out there.
One of the main things a blogger wants is readers. Second to providing good content, I seek to increase my readership. (I just love people!) Getting new readers is terrific, but what defines a blogger's success is keeping returning visitors. That's important to me, so I try to find ways to help readers who like my blog to remember to return for more great content. (At least I hope it's great. If it's not, someone, please say something!)
Some of the ways I do this is by making RSS addition options readily available in my sidebar. Another is by giving you readers an option to subscribe to my feed by e-mail. This way, you can read my content without ever cracking open your web browser. I have had one option for e-mail reading in my sidebar for months, now, but I just learned of a new one that's a bit different.
Zookoda blog e-mail is a blog broadcasting service provider designed to keep readers in the know when you've updated your blog. And it's free.
Blog owners create an account with Zookoda and insert script into their blog template. Readers subscribe and will receive by e-mail a summary of recent blog posts. What I like about this, is that blog owners can choose to send notices however frequent or infrequent they want depending upon their reader's needs. With Zookoda, I can set it to send updates bimontly or monthly.
Sounds like a great program to me. I'm looking forward to seeing what other options it has. Look for it soon in my sidebar. It will be there if all goes well.
