Update on Family in House Fire
I learned this afternoon that the family in the house fire I wrote about in yesterday's Blog Your Blessings Sunday post, along with a man in an attached apartment, lost everything in the fire. The family has, I believe, three children. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Our kids' school is collecting donations for the family through Friday, March 9th. All donations The Building Brows receive through Monday March 5th will go to the school which will then be given to this family.

We recently had something similar happen here. My sister and were driving in that direction when the flames were at their peak. Scary! That family too, lost everything. (And one of them had just been shot about a month before in a gang thing) The town rallied together and got them clothes for the seven kids, and maternity clothes for the two pregnant mommies. I gave them all my maternity clothes. (Probably a sure fire way to become pregnant)
