Generate Revenue & Traffic

Anyone who has a blog should think about blog marketing. Some bloggers want to market to get more readers while others want to make money. Others simply would like compensation for their time spent connecting with the world's population.

I've looked into several revenue-generating options and find that all of them depend upon Web traffic. The difference in a good verses great system has been the type of payout. I am far from an expert, but PayPerPost.com has been most profitable for me so far. They require disclosure so there's no hidden agendas, and the new segmentation awards higher ranked, greater traffic blogs by giving them large payouts--as much as $1000 per post. I haven't qualified for huge payouts, yet, buy my blog is ranked pretty well, so they aren't far off if I want them.

Making money isn't my goal with this site, though we could surely use house supplies money, so I don't do a lot of paid posts, (who wants to read posts full of ads?) but some of you may want to look into this to supplement your site. A few paid posts scattered throughout your site that are in line with your site's goal (like this one) can benefit you and your readers.

Even if your site doesn't have high traffic, you can still make decent money, and the service fee as compared with other sites is pretty reasonable--35%. Heck, you may even want to advertise on PayPerPostto increase traffic.
