The Concrete Floor Poured
The pipes are for toilets and other bathroom plumbing. If you ask me, I think we're missing a few pipes,
but Jim says it's all we need.
I sure hope so!
It was interesting to watch Jim and Chris on their kneescarefully trying to smooth out the wet concrete
to make it plumb while trying not to fall over in the stuff.
Let's just say I'm glad it wasn't me.
I wish I had gotten a picture of it,
but at the time we weren't living on site yet,
so I was stuck at home--my dad's house--with the kids.
Ah, the radiant floor heating tubes that will later be filled. With what I don't know.
I haven't looked that far, but Jim knows.
Only he's not home to ask right now.
They're still empty so we can revisit that when it happens.
Jim must have been so tired after smoothing all the concretethat his arm sagged taking this picture.
He was probably just glad the concrete floor was done.
Not bad work, eh? I'm impressed.
