A Roof!
Ta-da! A completed roof. The peak is still open by a few inches for a vented ridge. Jim didn't get a chance to put a tarp on it to keep rain out, though. He went down the road to Eric's house to help him cut trees and by the time he came back, the rain had already frozen on the plywood. He almost slipped off the plank trying to enter the house. Looks like God held off the rain just in time for us to finish. And we finished none too soon. In two days, Jim will have hand surgery to remove a cyst that's given him painful swelling, so getting this roof on is a huge relief. Now if it snows, the cement floor will be safe. Rain, though? Well, we'll leave that in God's hands.
